NMCC 11, Gideon 0 MALDEN, Mo. — Lily Johnson threw a no-hitter on Monday, in the quarterfinals of the Class 1, District 2 Tournament at Malden High School. The Lady Eagles’ ace struck out 11 over her five innings of work, as NMCC defeated Gideon 11-0. At the plate, Joycelynne Jackson hit a grand slam, which added to a seven-run second inning for NMCC. Carson Cooper went 2-for-2 with two RBI as well.
